Displaying artifacts depicting pre-colonial days to the present, the Caldwell Heritage Museum provides a chronological history of Caldwell County. Housed in the last remaining building of Davenport College, the museum chronicles Caldwell County residents’ military contribution and the college’s history, among other subjects, in six main display areas. It is located in downtown Lenoir behind the Davenport School.
